The official beer thread

Get some movement on these boards. What're you drinking right now? I.e., what's in your fridge this week/today?

I got some River Horse Milk Stout over the weekend. Tasty, but too fizzy for me. I also got a couple of Smuttynose Imperial Stouts. Love those beers, especially for the money, but the first of the pair that I had was most definitely bad. Like I almost couldn't finish it. Almost ;)

Let's keep this thread goin!

This week I had a mini Lagunitas-fest. Got a 6'er of their Undercover Shut Down Ale & a pair of their 2009 Correction Ale.
I've had the Undercover before, but it'd been a while. Nice refresher; good stuff, but a little on the sweet side. The Correction will not be bought again by yours truly. It was way too... something.

I'm actually on a bit on the band wagon. I'm trying real hard to eat healthy, follow an exercise plan, and not drink anything alcoholic. When I do drink, I like to drink either Dos XX Lager, or Shiner Bock. I know, that's not very exotic... A couple of friends of mine opened a small restaurant here on the island, and they offered Stella Artois on tap. I really enjoyed that beer, until they closed after Hurricane Dolly... :(

I'm on the same health kick. It's either Goslings and Coke Zero or Vodka Tonics. MMMMMM.

I quit smoking last month so I'm not really drinking anything unless I'm playing softball, and I only drink bud light there.

I'm not sure what it is about living down here in South Texas, but everybody LOVES bud light. I can't stand it. Only good thing tho, is whenever I have friends over, they always bring their own beer since my fridge only ever has Dos Equis, Shiner Bock, or some weird Micro Brew.

Rebecca just stopped @ this joint on her way back from Jersey & spent entirely too much dough on brews. Awesome stuff though :D
